Structure No.15, 2018

Almost all of Andrei Skripka’s works are abstract compositions based on a contrasting combination of color spots and uneven, pulsating lines. This method is applied in complementary paintings Structure No. 15 and “Structure No. 23. The visual center of each canvas is a dark, hatching lump countered by bright, saturated spots, as if emerging from a light, heterogeneous background. Together, they create a radiant, joyful composition.
