In her humorous work Siesta, artist Lyudmila Baronina remarkably combines elements from different eras and styles to create a work in the authentic trash-hippie-horror genre. The plot, as if directed by Quentin Tarantino, tells the story of girls stopped in a field for a picnic, naked for some reason, who are attacked by large gray-blue cats with human faces, drawn in a mixture of medieval painting style and old-school tattoo. All this is set against a background of cheerful yellow and a tricolor rainbow. It is worth taking seriously the question of choosing a place for a siesta.
Edition 1/15, uniquely hand-colored
