Shato-Hueto is an ironic, edgy piece by Lyudmila Baronina. The artist targets wine labels with her sarcasm. The monotonous parade of labels in the wine section bores the creator. Each of them is nearly identical, depicting majestic chateaux and vineyards. Lyudmila Baronina offers a fun alternative. She preserves the characteristic elements of this style, but instead of a chateau, she portrays two tilted houses far from being majestic. In the center is a wine barrel and a distant relative of the many-armed god Shiva, inebriated under unknown circumstances, drinking nonstop from that barrel. We don't know if Shato-Hueto wine is good, however its label distinguishes it from the competition.
Edition 1/15, uniquely hand-colored
