Lyudmila Baronina's style derives from book illustrations. The title refers to the poem that probably inspired the art. However, Baronina's drawings are not intended to illustrate. One might say that the art has the power to rewrite and reconstruct the text. Two heroes merge in the reflection. The reflection's left foot is about to step out of the mirror, symbolizing the upcoming reunion of lovers. With a sophisticated joke, the artist draws the hero's warrior qualities as sporting equipment. The bending tree resembles a mighty human body:  the boundaries blur both in heroes and in the surrounding objects, blending and expressing the inherent connection. The concept of the border has lost its meaning, explaining why it is so easy to get out of the mirror.
