Konstantin Slepukhin is a Russian artist, sketcher, painter. He was born in Dmitrov near Moscow, where he lives and works at the moment. His works were displayed in Malmö, Sweden; Singapore; Hong Kong; and Germany. His artworks can be found in private collections in Russia and globally. This piece is distinctly theatrical, sham. Gaudy female figures are portrayed as 'beauties' — perfect women without arms, legs, and faces. Young, excessively sexy bodies in consumer kitsch poses, just like an advertisement. Bright colors represent the influence of social art. All of this can undoubtedly be interpreted as a metaphor for the virtual world and theoretical happiness in the early twenty-first century, as well as a monstrous gap between real life and the soul.
