Gogol’s hand, 2020

Gogol's Hand is a portrait of the composer Oleg Karavaichuk, the author of the eponymous concert. The side of the luxurious grand piano is decorated with a scene of contemplation, reflecting the composer's excellent musical skills. The slightly pretentious decor of the piano contrasts with the simplicity of the chair. The composer's posture appears relaxed; the image itself is detached and tense at the same time: this man is completely immersed in the sound.
