Banknote #2, 2019

This piece of art resembles a banknote, and it's the only connection to economic materialism - we know neither the bank nor the nominal value. In the center, there is Edouard Manet’s In the Conservatory. Framed by a floral ornament, a married couple is absorbed in the biosystem of signs and symbols, while the lined paper contains the artist's complex messages, preventing them from spilling.
